Scholarships

"to fully gain the promises of democracy, a quality education is needed." - Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Dr. King was a strong advocate for a quality education for all Americans and often stated the quote above. The essential gains for education benefits from the laws won by Dr. King and the Civil Rights Movement. Each year, the ICDHR supports local achievements by high school seniors through its scholarship fund.
